The Skiers (red)
This is the first Ski Country decanter It was originally intended to
commemorate the 1972 Winter Olympics but Colorado voters turned down the
Olympics after production of the decanter was under way. The 4/5 was
issued in 1972 with 1505 pieces issued. 600 minis were
released in 1975.

Olympic Skier
This decanter was released in cooperation with the U.S. Ski Team and
a donation was made for each decanter to help finance the teams efforts
at the Lake Placid Olympics. 4200 750 ml and 2400 minis were released in
1980.

Mill River Country Club
This was a specialty created for the Mill River, Connecticut country
club. The very low run of 570 4/5 were distributed on the East coast.

Caveman
This decanter was referred to as the "Oregon Caveman" in early
publicity releases, reason is now unknown. 1500 4/5 and 1800 minis were
released in 1974.

Submarine
1800 minis were produced in 1976 for the U.S., Submarine Veterans of
World War II. Warpage during firing prevented its being made in a larger
size.

Cowboy Joe
The University of Wyoming at Laramie requested a decanter of their
mascot. The 4500 750 ml. were originally only sold in Wyoming. It was
issued in 1980. It's music box plays "Ragtime Cowboy Joe". Issued in 4/5
only.

Colorado School of Mines Burro
This decanter was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the
school. It is cleverly designed to accommodate the stopper in the pack
on the burro's back. Both sizes have leather reins. 1800 4/5 were
released in 1973 with 2000 minis following in 1974.

Political
The Democratic and Republican convention saluted in the short 1976
issue. Base stamps identify the convention sites. 800 sets of the 4/5
and 1250 sets of minis were released.

Ladies of Leadville
In 1973, Ski Country acknowledged the town of Leadville, Colorado
with this release. The ladies represent the typical "rags-to-riches" era
of the boomtown Leadville during the silver mining of the last century.
They are known as the Brown and Blue lady for their costume. 1200 pairs
of the 4/5 size and 2400 pairs of the minis were issued in 1973.

Phoenix Bird
This was an exclusive decanter for Arizona and portrays the mythical
symbol of Phoenix. Barbara Foss designed the striking decanter, which
required "cold painting" the gold to add brilliance without glazing 1848
750 ml and 1044 minis were issued in 1981.

Bonnie
This is one part of the legendary bank robbing duo of the 1930's.

1923 Ahrens-Fox Fire Engine
This "to scale" model of an actual fire engine presented many
problems for the manufacturer and resulted in a small run of
approximately 600 pieces in the 750 ml. size only. Released in 1981.

Voyage of Discovery
Produced in 1992 with a very limited edition of only 500 sets in the
mini size only. 300 of these sets were sent to Spain, therefore only 200
sets were released in the United States.

Dolphins
Produced in both the 750 ml size and the mini. Only 300 of each size,
and each individually hand numbered. The 750 ml size came out in 2001
and the mini came out in 2002.

full color commemorative box showing the Sky Line of New York with the
