This general issue was nationally 
distributed in 1979:  3000 4/5 and 
2400 minis.








   

           Prarie Chicken

2400 4/5 were produced in 1976, 
followed by 2016 minis in 1977.








   


Sage Grouse

The male grouse is seen in his 
finest mating pose, tail feathers 
extended he represents the first 
of Ski Country's gamebirds, 
having been issued in 1974:  3300 
4/5 and 2006 minis.






   


          Ruffed Grouse

The design was taken from a 
painting called "Woodland Drummer" 
by Dick Miller.  It was issued with
the incorrect artist's signature on 
the base in 1981; 4200 750 ml. and 
1800 minis.
